Oscar and I headed out to SIEC to compete in our first Grand Prix since 2011. It was a great feeling to be back in the GP arena, we were a little rusty but we had so much fun, and even came home with a win!!

It’s been a tough journey for both Oscar and I, at 17 Oscar’s body was really feeling the effects of being a top dressage horse for the past 14 years! Even if his brain is still back being a 3yr old colt!! I can’t believe I have had Oscar since he was 3yrs old.

He has taught me so much over the past 14 years; we really know each other inside and out, you really create a great partnership when you train a horse from start to finish it’s an accomplishment I’m really proud of.
